Specific Accomplishments in each appointment:
Garland, TX: June 2006- Present
• Plan and oversee 1.5 Million dollar annual budget.
• Oversee Social Services program which provided direct financial assistance of over $250,000 for rent and utilities to those in need.
• Administrative oversight of Garland Boys and Girls Club of America.
• Improved net financial position by over $150,000 in first 24 months of leadership.
• Increased Christmas fundraising campaign from $128,000 to $205,000.
• Oversight of full time staff of 15 and seasonal staff of 50.
Danville, Va.: June 2003- June 2006
• Full Responsibility for 1.2 million dollar budget for church, social services and thrift store operations.
• Drastically Increased Christmas income over a three year period. (From $85,000 to $161,000)
• Established Community “Education 360” Program with the local school system and community college.
• Improved United Way relations. (Yearly presentation ranking improved from 25th to 4th.)
• Improved public image through a very successful public relations campaign.
• Worked with Piedmont Broadcasting (WBTM, WAKG Radio) to change a toy drive into a major Christmas fundraiser which raised over $115,000 in 2005.
• Grew church congregation attendance of 8 to an average attendance of 75.
• Fastest growing Salvation Army church in Washington DC and Virginia in 2006.
• Oversight of full time staff of 12 and seasonal staff of 35.
Richmond, Va.: Aug 1999- June 2003
• Full Responsibility for one million dollar church budget.
• Grew church congregation attendance of 75 to an average attendance of 125.
• In charge of large Christmas fundraising campaign. Raised over one million dollars over four Christmases. (Yearly average increased from $165,000 to over $250,000)
• Prepared and sent five young adults to seminary to become Salvation Army officers.
• Managed 25 disaster volunteers and deployed teams to Washington D.C. and New York after 9/11/2001.
• Served as The Salvation Army state V.O.A.D (Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster) representative from 2001- 2004
• Oversight of full time staff of 10 and seasonal staff of 75.
Suffolk, Va.: June 1996- Aug 1999
• Full responsibility for $750,000 church, social services, and thrift store budget.
• Grew church congregation attendance from an average of 25 to an average of 85.
• Fastest growing Salvation Army church in Washington DC and Virginia in 1998
• More than doubled Christmas Fundraising totals over a three year period. ( From $54,000 to $112,000)
• Expanded The Salvation Army into Franklin County.
• Oversight of full time staff of 12 and seasonal staff of 50.
Winchester, Va.: June 1993- June 1996
• Full responsibility for $400,000 church, social services and thrift store budget.
• Grew church congregation attendance from an average of 45 to 95.
• Fastest growing Salvation Army church in Washington DC and Virginia in 1995
• Planned and built $1.7 million dollar building which included church, offices and a 50 bed family transitional housing and shelter program.
• Increased Thrift Store sales from $72,000 per year to $241,000 per year.
• Drastically increased Christmas fundraising campaign. (From $84,000 to $135,000)
• Oversight of full time staff of 8 and seasonal staff of 40.
Jacksonville, Fl.: June 1991- June 1993
• Full responsibility for $200,000 church budget.
• Began total volunteer Christmas Kettle program which raised over $275,000 per year at an average of 60 locations per day.
• Was trained as a United Way guest speaker for donor presentations. (Spoke to over three dozen groups on behalf of The United Way.)
• Oversight of full time staff of 7 and seasonal staff of 25.

-Registered participant in the Microsoft Partner program.
-Completed a three year course of study with Asbury Theological Seminary on leadership entitled “The Beeson Institute for Advanced Church Leadership” in 2004. (I became the first Salvation Army officer to complete this program.)
