CAREER HISTORY
Vice President, NewFirst Bank, 2007 to 2010. $367M
privately held financial firm. Recruited to
facilitate best practice strategies, resulting
in significant revenue increases. Developed $28M
loan portfolio and $14.5M deposit portfolio.
Increased portfolio 15%, improving Return
on Assets from 1.76% to 2.10% in two years. Managed
three direct reports and $2M budget.
Vice President, Sterling Bank, 2003 to 2006. $740M
financial and mortgage regional bank. Developed and
maintained profitable
account relationships with commercial customers.
Received recognition for maintaining low monthly
past-due loan ratios of $2.5% or lower. Led two
direct reports.
Vice President / Business Banking Manager,
SouthTrust Bank 2000 to 2003. Multi-state bank with
600 offices, bought out by Wachovia.
Selected to build Business Banking unit from the
ground up. Leveraged in-depth product knowledge to
educate unit on bank lending and deposit policies.
Retained customers when colleague
attempted to change banks upon departure. Managed
up to seven direct reports and budget of $1M.
