Work Experience
2001-2007 Director – Liberia Annual Conference/United Methodist Church, Monrovia, Liberia. Responsibilities and accomplishments included the following:
o Organizing and strengthening the operational capacity of the Program;
o Spearheaded the massive expansion of the Program which encompassed the entire country;
o Initiated the establishment of a community radio station in Cesstos City, Rivercess County;
o Initiated several legal aid projects that resulted in the release of people held in illegal detentions facilities in several counties including: Rivercess, Sinoe, Grand Bassa, Margibi, Bong, Maryland, Nimba, and Montserrado counties;
o Successfully influenced the closure and/or rehabilitation of several prisons, holding and detention facilities throughout the country; and
o Facilitated the increase of political awareness and improved human rights conditions in several rural counties.
1998-2001 Program & Project Officer – Liberia Annual Conference/United Methodist Church Monrovia, Liberia My duties included:
o Established a documentation system/data processing of cases of human rights violations;
o Expanded and strengthened the monitoring, investigation, documentation and reporting arm of the Department
o Initiated the establishment of the Monitor Network System

1985-1988 Instructor – R.C. Lawson Institute, Monrovia, Liberia. Taught chemistry and physics to senior high school students in grades 10th, 11th & 12th. Also worked as a science instructor to junior high students in grades 7th, 8th & 9th.

• Spearheaded the growth and expansion of the Liberia Annual Conference’s Peace with Justice Program, Human Rights Monitor (HRM);
• Created the Monitor Network System – largest Liberian community-based volunteer network system which was comprised of over 2,000 community volunteers;
• Built and transformed the Human Rights Monitor into a nationally acclaimed human rights advocacy program and an effective community mobilization tool;
