Overview:

I am a Guyanese by birth; I was employed by the Guyana Teaching Service Commission on the 1st August 1999,as an Assistant Mistress at the Nabaclis Early Childhood School. I have worked as a Senior Assistant Mistress and a Graduate Senior Assistant Mistress at the same school.

Upon these venturous days in my career, I was at liberty to attend several Professional Training, Teacher’s Cluster Meetings, Staff Development Sessions, Bible Clubs and workshops to enable me to better my skills and talents. I was exposed to Psychosocial Training that enables me to deal and assist children with various family issues such as, divorces, single parents’ homes, H.I.V and other environmental elements that can affect the positive growth of young children.

As a teacher, I believe greatly in the usage of various teaching methods, strategies and teaching materials to deal with each child as an individual and as they learn at a different rate. A conducive environment also is one of my greatest talents which enable my students to feel safe as a home away from home.

Many students who were under my care were able to measure the successes over the years and exhibit their achievement physically, mentally, socially, emotionally and spiritually.

I would like to continue to assist in developing and molding the next generation for our future.
