Summary
I am a technology and business visionary with 10+ years leading and defining corporate technology and the
architecture/implementation of high volume management systems. I define the roadmaps, budget, staff,

IT Implementations
• Managed the design and implementation of migrating the Syms stores from dialup to a broadband
WAN solution that was able to accommodate the following: High speed charge approval, trickle
polling, email, video conferencing & digital signage content.
• Piloted a team of co-workers and consultants, to implement a Cisco solution in the corporate offices
and 46 retail stores.
• Migrated Syms Corporate, Distribution Center and stores from Symbol RF to a Cisco wireless solution,
which involved a Distribution Center scanner migration to Symbol MC9090, Symbol WT4090 and a Dell
mobile workstation solution.
• Integrated the Syms Clothing and Filenes Basement Corporate, Store & Distribution Center networks into
one cohesive network.
• Researched and implemented a 1 to 3 video conferencing solution for both local and remote
conferencing.
• Designed and implemented a business continuity solution for restoration of service in the event of a
disaster.
• Investigated, and deployed various Apple solutions that included video conferencing, iPhones, iPads
register, server remote management, email and attachment access.
Technology Expansion
• Integrated the IT infrastructure of two companies (Syms and Filenes Basement) and moved Filenes
Basement off of a shared hosting agreement with BTS a subsidiary of DSW Inc. in 6 months, saved
$750,000 is penalties.
• Expanded infrastructure support for a $250 Million, 26 store environment, to support a post-buyout $400
Million, 46 store enterprise.
Operational Improvements
• Migrated Syms Clothing from a LAN built entirely of Intel Hubs and Switches to a Cisco Enterprise
Network over the past 10 years.
• Moved charge authorization from modem dialup, to approval over a broadband connection this
reduced the transactions time by 70%.
• Setup a knowledge base to improve help desk response time on issues.
• Deployed a company wide digital signage solution to better inform customers of current promotions
