Work Experience (2006-2007)

Collected field data and information through local villagers/ stake holders by consultation process while completing internship in a biodiversity impact monitoring field project of an international environmental NGO- Center for Natural Resource Study (CNRS) Bangladesh. Also reviewed of different technical reports, Case studies, and project proposals on wetland plant inventories that were done by CNRS. Lot of field works was done during the internship to understand the current management for wetland plant bio-diversity conservation. Floral and Faunal species monitoring study and data collection, data analysis and finally the report preparation were the required goal for that internship project.

Senior Project 2006

Collected daily use of water samples from urban slums area in Dhaka, Bangladesh and tested those into laboratory in order to determine the water pollutant components and water born diseases. Made my own questionnaire on water related health problems and interviewed people according to that questionnaire. Presented full questionnaire in excel program and prepared a final report based on those information.

Work Experience (2010-Present)

Working as a sales associate of Macy’s. A sales associate duty is to maintaining customer service as well as assisting with merchandising responsibilities.

Skills

• Familiarity about World Bank Environment strategies, safeguard policies, etc. Also familiar about USA Environmental Federal Laws and compliances.

• Highly motivated to learn more and enrich knowledge from environment related websites, journals, publications, books, etc, reading materials as well as practical experiences.

• Excellent communication skills and management capacity to work in an environmental team.

Volunteer Activities

• Worked as a team leader of “Live in Field Experience “course and successfully achieved the certificate jointly organized by Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) and Thengamara Mohila Sabug Sangha (TMSS) Bogra in 2006.

• Worked as a volunteer in Charge of conducting 25th Anniversary Program of Viquarunnisa Noon College in 2001.

• Worked as a member of the Workshop of Viquarunnisa Noon School Debating Club (1998-2001)
