• Start up of the operation, get independency from a shelter operation.

Hired to help in the establishment of a new manufacturing facility, key activities include: Selection of the location, coordination of the equipment transfer, Vertically Integration Projects, selection and acquisition of new equipment and technologies. Reports to VP of Operations.
This facility has 500+ employees and 120,000 sq. ft, it is divided in two sections: Automotive accessories and recreational products.
• Responsible for Engineering, Quality, Maintenance and Tool Room teams, the operation includes: 16 injection and one-extrusion molding machines, 20,000-sq. ft. of metal fabrication section, semi-clean room for radio frequency sealing, general electromechanical assembly.
• Hire and development of key personnel for the molding operation: Tool room supervisor, Maintenance supervisor, Production Superintendent.
• Selection and purchase of injection molding machines, resin dryers, cooling towers, chillers, temperature controllers, grinders, feeding systems, mixers.
• Assist tool room and maintenance crews on the communication with equipment and tools suppliers; solve daily problems related to tools and machines.
• Coordinate and attend meeting to review non-conformance materials, ECN’s implementation, new products, improvement projects, and production priorities.
