Senior Software Developer
•Principal Developer: Developed and maintained a web application that manages the daily trade approval process between a multi-billion dollar alternative asset investment specialist firm and a global hedge fund administration company. The application also tracks the holdings of investors placed into investments, life cycle of an order (order creation, order status, pending order status and order becomes transaction upon approval), fund management system, the agents responsible for bringing the investors into the funds and commissions associated with the transactions. Extensive use of ASP.NET, Web service and SQL MS SQL Server 2005 with occasional AJAX and third party Grid control (Far point Grid) is used to meet client requirements.
•Responsible for full life cycle of release procedure of the website (from development to QA to UAT and then production site). That involves knowledge of using source safe,
identifying and debugging problems during release, provide guidance to clients whenever necessary during production release, status of release, and documenting the process.
•Provided timely solutions and explanations for client generated tickets for the website which are highly time sensitive.
•Developed a Dashboard System for ClientLogix (CRM solution heavily customized for Financial Services companies) replacing the existing static dashboard system. The current dashboard allows client to select and customize up to ten dashboards with six different template designs with various financial grids, graphs and charts with primary and secondary filtering capabilities. VB.NET and ADO.NET were used to develop the ClientLogix software.

Programmer Analyst
The main development work centered in developing and maintenance of the Investalink software and internal company support for the last 10-years. I was the Lead Developer of Investalink software. Development was done using JSP, HTML, Java Script, Java, Visual Basic, and VB.NET. To achieve the desired look and feel of the system, Cascading Style Sheet (CSS) was used. The backend was Oracle. Open New Accounts: is a complete step by step user friendly data entry system that helps the customers to input information online for their new client and obtain account numbers for them with a minimum of effort. All the data validations and the business rules are applied to the screens that are needed to open a new account. This system is one of the critical projects in the company because the customer proceeds to do anything until they get a new account number from the system.
Online Trading System: for the customers that will help them to open trading accounts in our system to do further trading of stocks and mutual funds with the three clearing firms. The system meets all the rules and regulations given by NASDQ.
Online Blotter System: assists with the task of maintaining regulatory blotters. The system is capable of entering information, query the information and also update the information that is already there.
Online Commission Statements: gives client the amount of their commission check is going to be every week. It also maintains an archive of their previous commission statements for their easy review.
Client Account Search: provides current information from the three primary clearing firms, as well as daily updates from close to 100 of the most prominent mutual fund and variable product sponsors. The search screen has all the search filters and sorting capabilities for easy user friendly results.
Check Request System: can help the client to request a check from the clearing firms and sponsors. It shows the up to the minute balance and also the cut off times for the three clearing firms.
Email System: whenever there is an online trading with all the required information. The email is sent to the back office.
Message Board: responsible and managing an online message board. When ever a client login to the system they can view the message board.
Forms: converted numerous word forms send by clearing firms, and converted them to PDF format and made them available online.
Internal Company Support
MIS System Support: helped the MIS department to manage the client’s question and concerns. The system is designed to have various tools and applications that help the user from the MIS department to organize the calls, queries and various requests from the clients.
Recruiting Department Support: developed a prospective client recruiting tool system that has a self contained menu system that points to different applications with easier navigations. It has a list of prospects with comments and level of interest. For future reference there is a comment section and capability to perform searches by different criteria for the prospects.
New Account Department: developed a “New Account System” for the New Account Department, which is one of the most important internal systems. It has lots of applications for the in-house users with all the NASDAQ rules and regulations. It allows entering customer information and generating a new account number. Also, allows searching the customer information either through a blank search or use of search filters. It also has sections for in-house office users to enter comments and paper works needed for that specific account. It can also do the mutual fund trading giving each customer a unique number.
HRD Access Projects: developed user friendly Microsoft Access projects such as blotters, account transfer (ACAT), and sponsor which utilizes various forms to communicate with the databases. Helped with various SQL queries upon request of management.
Upgrade of Old Database System: Played a major role in upgrading the old database system to a new database system (in Oracle).
Cash and Margin Department: Developed a system for Cash and Margin department for organization of the departmental tasks. The system can give the user a list of current check requests or certificate requests and the user can process the check or certificate requests to the respective clearing firms.
