PROJECT PROFILE: - Solar2 Power Tower.

Elected the Solar power tower project as our project work, because the solar energy is the one which prefers to conserve the renewable sources for a non-conventional sources of energy.

Solar power tower is a type of solar furnace using a tower to receive the focused to used sunlight by using heliostat devices.

• In solar one, we have used for thermal storage systems stored heat from solar produced steam in a tank filled with rocks & sand using oil the heat-transfer fluid.

• This storage system was complex & thermodynamically inefficient.

• So our convince we go prefer for a solar two.

• In case of solar two, to validate nitrate salt technology: -

1. To reduce the technical & economic risk of power towers.

2. And to stimulate the commercialization of power tower technology.

Works of project associates:-

• Assembling the project model.

• And to collect the heliostat, steam generator, heat rejection, steam turbine house, alternator set.

• Prepare the model for solar 2 Power Tower.

Conclusion:-

• From solar energy through power tower can generate up to 10MW.

• In future the technology cans tines to be a 200MW Rankin solar – only nitrate – salt power plant.

• And fossil fuel may deplete, so by keeping in mind we have proffered for renewable sources such as solar, wind, tidal energies.
