OBJECTIVE: To obtain a Maintenance/Facility Manager position with The Leslie Company where my skills, knowledge and experience will be utilized and challenged.

EXPERIENCE:

2004-Present Facility Maintenance Manager, Accent Controls Inc., Riverside Missouri

Manage the daily projects and personnel to maintain an underground United States Army Reserve Storage Facility Property. Plan and prioritize workloads and projects that maintain the facility. Work with contractors by receiving bids for repair or upgrade project work. Once approved, coordinate the work with the contractors in a safe and efficient manner that does not interfere with the storage mission. Responsible for repairing floors, walls, doors, windows, locks, ceilings and roofs of all buildings. Responsible for facility security, equipment stored within the facility and safety of the employees and visitors. Maintain the facility’s 160 acre grounds, this includes cutting grass, trimming trees, snow/ice removal and maintaining a two mile security fence line. Maintain maintenance equipment, HVAC system, electrical systems, plumbing and motor vehicles. Use and maintain a CMMS program (computer management maintenance system), which tracks all assets and notifies when to service them. Coordinate with the site manager through a work order system, work requests to be completed in a timely manner. Purchase materials to keep the facility in proper working condition. Review employees skill level and determine if any training is needed and if so conduct training seminars. Conduct facility tours for government employees.

2002-2004 Project Engineer, Accent Controls Inc., Riverside Missouri

Designed, built, and tested control panels for material handling systems used in the automotive industry. Wrote Allen-Bradley PLC programs to control the hardware used in panels, which controlled material handling systems. Oversaw the installation of control panels and electrical field devices. Once installed, was responsible for the electrical control gear to operate correctly in a timely manner.

2000-2002 Sr. Controls Engineer, Kasa Industrial Controls Inc., Salina Kansas

Designed, built, and tested control panels for material handling systems used in the automotive industry. Worked with Sr. Control Engineers, in developing Allen-Bradley PLC programs. The programs were written to control the sequential operation of conveyor systems.

1997-2000 Laboratory Supervisor, National Gas Machinery Laboratory, Salina Kansas

Supervised a turbocharger test and research facility. Recorded technical data for turbochargers used in the natural gas industry. Designed, built, and tested electronic and electrical equipment used in the instrumentation room. Responsible for the installation of various turbochargers tested in the laboratory.
