Observed children with acute mental illness, had the opportunity to interview patient with multiple axis dysfunction.
Obstetrics: Integris Southwest Medical Center, OK
Rotations include Labor and Delivery, Nursery, Postpartum. Assisted L&D with non-stress test, set IVs, medication administrations, patient teaching and observed C-section. Assisted Nursery with APGAR, Vitals, administered Vitamin K and erythromycin to newborns, assisted with PKU test, and assisted MD with “Mogan” style circumcisions. Assessed postpartum patients, assisted with vitals and discharge instructions.

Assisted with trach suctioning, performed catherizations using aseptic technique, performed manual ventilation on children while bathing, assisted with IV placement, phlebotomy draws, calibrated tube feeding, assisted with the administration on medications..
