Was responsible for all accounts both receivable and accounts payable. Had to insure accuracy of invoices; insure the accuracy of number of hours billed for client services for not the company records, and appropriate billing, but also for State and Federal grant records; had to maintain various records for State and Federal statistical purposes; had to be aware of all State and Federal statutes pertaining to company services.

Custom Furniture Designer and Builder (5/1996 - 8/2000)

Arkansas Department of Corrections, Wrightsville, AR

Was mainly responsible for the design of custom institutional type furniture, and for any on the spot necessary design changes. I was also responsible for insuring that proper materials and worker craftsmanship were utilized from the time the design and worksheets were completed through the building and finishing processes to insuring that the furniture could withstand a "lifetime" of use, which was the company policy, and warranty. I was essentially responsible for supervising approximately 40+ persons involved in the production process, insuring that safety standards were adhered to, insuring the quality of the items produced, and insuring that completion dates were met. I was also responsible for repairing and maintaining machinery utilized in the production of the furniture and cabinetry.

Garment Plant Clerk and Mechanic (3/1993 - 4/1996)

Pine Bluff Unit Garment Plant, Pine Bluff, AR

Was responsible for maintaining appropriate inventory records and invoices, and to insure quality of both the materials used and the resulting products. I was essentially responsible for supervising 32 persons. I was also responsible for maintaining and repairing various types sewing machines and other implements used in the manufacture of various garments.

Reasonable skill utilizing various woodworking hand and power tools. Reasonable mechanical skills on various kinds of production and construction machinery in maintenance and installation. Reasonable ability to supervise people and maintain quality production quotas, maintain safety standards, and insure that production machinery was properly maintained.Know how to use forklift, overhead crane, pallet jack, backhoe both tracked and wheel. Worked part time for a property owner who owned three apartment complexes, several duplexes, and rental homes and commercial buildings doing general maintenance on each. Have some experience with troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic and pneumatic systems, and various controls. Can read blueprints. Can use stick welder and gas cutting torch.
