Quality Assurance Analyst (Federal Security Clearance) 2010 – 2012

Developed quality inspection and test plan for verification of IT infrastructure in new Missile Defense Agency building on Redstone Arsenal. Obtained relevant specification information from contract documents and verified IT testing of connectivity and function of all IT equipment in building. Key role in development of initial MDA IT Quality Plan.

Coordinated efforts of Army Corps of Engineers and contractors to ensure compliance to MDA contract specifications. Specific actions included reviewing contractor test results, IT Standards for equipment installation/operation and coordinating network switch failure analysis for corrective action by supplier.

Processed manufacturing non-conformances (NC) to identify root cause and develop corrective actions to close NC’s resulting in delivery of final assembly to customer. Result was a 30-day reduction in average age of NC’s.

Led monthly quality meetings after coordinating reporting metrics from Engineering, Manufacturing, Supplier Support, Customers and Program Management.

Created daily report showing status of non-conformances for tracking and closing of issues to reduce delays for shipments to defense customer. Result was reduced shipping delays by providing daily status and tracking of final non-conformances.
