I'm looking for a entry level job in a Machinist type company with a opportunity to further my knowledge in this field of work. I currently have eight months experience running bridgeport type milling machines, 618 style surface grinders and cnc grinders. I roughed and squared blocks of metal to size for milling. Using the grinders i brought my parts into true flatness and squareness +- 5/10. The company I worked for ( Trucast Inc. ) kept a tight tolerance when milling of +- .002 and all parts being grinded had a tolerance of +- 5/10 for flatness and had to be +- 2/10 for squareness. At trucast i gained experience in tool and die making for aerospace companies such as PCC Mentor, Rolls Royce, The U.S. Government. I can email or fax and actual resume if interested.
