Hello, I am applying for a position of
CNC Machinist.
I have used all general machines for over twenty years, and many types of programming languages, I have reached a point in my career where I know I have the ability to learn different languages quickly, and I have excellent problem solving skills.
Education: Elgin Community Collage, two yrs. MoldMaking, 1988-89
Experience: I have worked mostly in the Chicago area for 20 year, the last two
years in Camarillo.
I have work on all aspects of plastic injection mold building, and I am a very
skilled machinist capable of running all general toolroom machines, as well as run and program, EDM Charmillies Robosinkers, manual EDMs, manual Hasphed EDM sinkers, Deckel CNC sinkers, Sodick wire EDMs, Mazak CNC mills, and Fanuc based G-code programming for CNC
Mills. I have also used Mastercam, Smartcam, Autocad, and Solidworks.

Hello, I have over 20 years of machining, Mold building & Programming experience,
below is a summery of my work history and the skills I've acquired.
Confidential, Camarillo, CA 10/2007- current
For this Employer I ran there EDM, O.D grinders, & general toolroom machines.
A1 – Tool, Melrose Park, IL 04/2006 – 10/2007
At A1 I ran there Makino 85 & 105 Sinkers, doing and programing most of all work,
I also Ran there 300 Charmillies Wire, which I trained myself on and turned this machine from running a couple of times a year to running 40% of the time, this company also had a Prototrack mill which I used.
ChemTech Plastics, Elgin, IL 05/2002 - 07/2004
Here I repaired Molds, created production fixtures and trouble-shot Molds new to this facility, I ran there Hasphed EDM, Prototrack mill, and created replacement
parts for the molds using these machines and form grinding.
O. S. MACHINING, Mt. Prospect, IL 05/2001 - 04/2002
At O.S. I ran there Mazak CNC Mills, and Fanuc G-code CNC Mills, working on mold bases and programming the majority of my work myself.

I was hired at Courtesy to work in the EDM dept. where I learned the Charmillies Roboform sinkers D12, D15. I ran the dept. night shift, responsible for the operation set-up & programming of Sodick wire EDM's & Roboform30 and 40 sinkers.
CASEY TOOL & MANUFACTURING, Casey, IL 08/1994 - 08/1995
Duties at Casey as a MoldMaker included emergency repair of assembly, punch press, spinning machines, and molds in production. I ran there Hasphed EDM sinker, and CNC Dekel EDM sinker, and did some large lathe work, also I completed all the work on two new Molds.
JAYTEE DIE & MOLD, Elk Grove Village, IL 03/1993 - 08/1994
Duties as a Jr. MoldMaker included operation of all general toolroom machines and acquired skills in polishing.
SEAQUIST MOLDING CENTER, Cary, IL 10/1987 - 03/1993
Toolroom Technician/Mold Repairer, duties included maintenance of injection molds, and trouble shooting of molds in production. Developed proficiency in surface grinders, O.D. grinders, mills, and engine lathes. After working for Seaquist for less than a year, I work alone on nights, where I did emergency repairs, and ground replacement parts on a OD/Ded-Tru grinder.
