Description:
United HealthCare's (United Health Group) Marketing division needed design and development for their Data Mart using SQL Server 2008 R2. Business Intelligence is using this data mart, which is refreshed via weekly uploads from centralized Data Warehouse.
Responsibilities:
Worked with Data modeler to design the data model.
Worked with business to understand current model which comprises of Cognos, DB2 and Oracle.

Workflow handles, templates for annual administration, distributions, loans, and other processes will allow rapid implementation of projects for admin plans. It also allow to monitor the flow of work through your office, track time associated with your services, reassign tasks to keep the work flowing and run reports to analyze your progress and profitability. The Plan Sponsor portal allows annual data collection process and annual report delivery. The secure website is customized to contain client logo and firm name allowing seamless integration with clients’ existing website. Firm’s clients securely and electronically enter, edit and approve annual data collection packet online. The data collection process integrates with the projects in Workflow allowing Firm’s staff to monitor the progress of clients as they complete the process online.

Description:DotGrants handles processing, reviewing/scoring and management of grants with Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. It is a web-based scalable, configurable, business rule driven and work flow based end-to-end Electronic Grants system. It provides consistent and standard user interfaces to handle the process from grant application entry to closeout. It also provides a secure and scalable solution that facilitates an efficient method of grant planning, publishing and solicitation, application entry, review, approval, contract, award and post-award monitoring.

Description: The GIS Interactive Query (GIS-IQ) application serves as the flagship application with PennDOT's Geographic Information Division. GIS-IQ provides an interface for showing sets of thematic map data which can be exported and queried for attribute data. Application is designed using InterGraph’s GeoMedia Webmap professional, Oracle 10g and Visual Studio 2008.
Responsibilities: Created new layers for various highways and federal programs. Extracted data using ETL tools from DB2, Oracle and IMS systems.

Description: The Windows Tablet PC Application is designed for Bridge Inspections for Bridge inspectors who enter data in handheld tablet PC for sate wide bridges. This is a C#, SQL Server, Crystal Reports based application for tablet PCs which interacts with Java/Oracle based ECSM (electronic construction management) application.

eGrants V2 (6 months): In continuation of the previous eGrants project, this project involved the conversion of the eGrants database from an older version of application to a new rewrite. The databases of the different Bureaus of the Department of Education were merged into one enterprise-wide database. T-SQL based DTS packages for MS SQL Server 2000 were written for this purpose.
eGrants V1 (2 years): eGrants is a unique web based Grant management system for Pennsylvania Department of Education. There are seven different Bureaus in the Department of Education, which distribute between $500 million to $1 Billion a year through this system.
