Environmental, Health and Safety Officer

Environmental Job Description:

1. Develop a plan, system, procedure, work instruction and review document required for ISO14001 manual and emergency response manual.

2. Attend the external recertification and surveillance audit pertaining to ISO14001 as an auditee.

3. Act as lead auditor or mentor to the core group of internal auditor.

4. Form emergency response team and conduct needed trainings for the personnel and Leads in required drills (fire drill, evacuation drill, earthquake drill, etc).

5. Inspect plant waste material facility, air pollution control installation and waste water treatment plant and suggest for improvement. Securing necessary permit and renewal from the government.

6. Ensure that the company complies with all applicable environmental law and regulation of DENR.

7. Prepare and submit quarterly report to DENR and provides assistance to government agencies prior to the mission order.

8. Conduct waste vendor audit to make sure that all waste disposed was properly handled by the accredited buyer or recycler.

9. Provide monthly report in environmental to the local and corporate management.

10. Make monthly environmental news write-up and be posted to all communication board.

Occupational Health and Safety:

11. Provide Procedure or System in preparation for the Safety Health Ergonomics Workers Compensation Audit (SHEWC) or OSHA 18001.

12. Inspect Plant Wide Fire Protection System e.g. Fire Extinguisher, Fire Hose, SCBA, Sprinkler, Alarm, etc.

13. Conduct Plant Industrial Hygiene sampling e.g. Noise, Heat Stress, Illumination Monitoring, Solvent, Formaldehyde, Carbon Disulfide, etc.

14. Conducts weekly observation in shop floor to check safety and health compliance and to identify hazard on unsafe physical conditions and assess poor behavior of associates.
