• Design of a Submersible Control Surface Actuator for Robotic Submarines: Designed an electro-mechanical actuator in SolidWorks for replacing dynamic sealing and servo motors with an electro-magnetic actuator for a fin of an unmanned submersible vehicle. Analyzed the design through Finite Element Methods for Magnetics software.
• A Tele-Operated Robotic Painter: Developed a C++ program for a SCARA Robot for imitating the mouse movement on a computer screen to actual moves within robotic work space. It also chooses different color pen based on the selection made in the computer.
• A Wireless gaming Console (similar to Nintendo Wii): Interfaced M16c with an Accelerometer to transmit static accelerations via Bluetooth protocol for controlling a graphics object in a computer game.
• An Autonomous Vehicle: Designed an autonomous vehicle that follows light intensity and avoids obstacles and edges of the board by interfacing a light source sensor, a sonar sensor, an edge detect sensor, a 2-d accelerometer, a DC Servo motor and stepper motor with HCS912C32 micro-controller.
