PROJECT DETAILS
B.E. Project: Hospital Automation
In this project we introduced a new system for maintaining the data base of patient in hospital, which is an economical and a useful way. A RIFD card will be given to each patient, which consists of a unique code and by swapping that card to the card reader we can get the details of the person. And we also found a system for tracking of ambulance by using a RFID transmitter and receiver.
Different Transformations on Images:
Transform theory has played a key role in image processing for many years and it continues to be a topic of interest in theoretical as well as applied work in this field. We apply transforms to image enhancement, restoration, encoding and description. The transformations used are Discrete Cosine transform, Sine transform, Fourier transform, and Fast Fourier transform. As part of the project, various transformation techniques are compared in the enhancement of images.
Design and implementation of different multipliers using VHDL:
The purpose is to compare different multiplier logic from power consumption and area perspective. Two multipliers are implemented: Array multiplier and Radix-2 Booth multiplier. At the end of the project, Radix-2 was found to provide better performance compared to the Array multiplier.
