Objective:
A management position in a company where my strong organizational skills, leadership and attention to detail are valued. Where challenges can be met and professional growth encouraged.
Work Experience:
· Facility Manager
September 2004-June 2009
NuStar Energy LP
Salisbury, Md.
Responsible for all aspects of a bulk storage/distribution facility, including all office operations, product inventory, logistics and scheduling, quality and loss control and security. Duties also included personnel, drivers and contractor safety, as well as employee and driver training and team building. I provided excellent customer service and was proactive in resolving any customer issues. As a team leader and motivator I regularly conducted safety and training sessions. I developed and submitted detailed reports regularly to both internal and external customers using Microsoft operating systems (including Excel and Word). I planned all projects and work assignments and managed all contractor bids as well as scheduling all maintenance, contractor and vendor services. Responsibilities also included employee hiring, evaluations, recommendations and discipline. I was responsible for developing and maintaining 1 year and 5 year rolling budget plans. I maintained facility-permitting compliance with regulatory agencies, including the EPA and the MDE by instituting a strong internal auditing system. I also developed and maintained great working relationships with all customers and co-workers. As Facility Manager I was charged with being proficient with the SEM and SAP operating platforms and was responsible for budgeting and accounting along with the requisitioning and purchasing processes. As my duties were extremely varied I can capably multi-task, as I am an excellent time manager.
