As a Kennel Manager and Canine Behaviourist, no two days are the same, on which I thrive. I have had to learn how to deal with various different scenarios and problems using the following qualities:
• Decision making
• Feedback
• Complaint handling
• Communication
• Professionalism
• Delegation
• Coaching
• Time Management
• Capacity Management
• Prioritising
As well as the day to day running of the kennels, I have gained experience in other roles which are also very important in the successful development of my skills. These include:
• Medicine Administration
• Judging Animal Welfare
• Handling responsibility
• Maintenance of Kennels and Cattery
• Marketing and design
Achievements
Having completed my BSc Hons degree, I have set up a small dog training business called Paws For Behaviour. I thoroughly enjoy seeing the dogs I train, develop their behaviour and social skills, and form a special relationship with their owners.
Interests
It’s clear from my C.V that my passion and interests lie with animals; however, I do take part in other hobbies. During my spare time, I like to ski, SCUBA dive, horse ride, listen to music, watch movies, socialize and read. I like to stay active and enjoy the fresh air.
