I retired from Northamptonshire Police in November 2011 after 30 years service. I gained the following qualifications (1) Advanced Car and Motorcycle Instructor, (2) Pursuit and Tpac Instructor, (3) Advanced 4 x 4 Off Road Instructor.

I am also an Examiner for the IAM for the following groups: Car, Motorcycle, Mini Buses and LGVs. I also spent 12 years as an Examiner for the same groups within the Rospa organisation.

I am qualified as a skid pan Instructor for both the cradle and wet skid pans.

Since retirement last November I have set up my own Advanced Motorcycle Training School as I am DSA registered as a post test motorcycle trainer. From March 2012 I have been involved in the Northamptonshire Safer Roads Team (with Northamptonshire Police)on a zero hours contract in relation to all road safety initiatives.
