Job Profile and Description for our Warehouse Manager
Responsible of planning, organizing and controlling of a warehouse’s over-all operations, manufacturing operations and quality inspections in Puerto Rico Branch; organizes activities & assigns jobs accordingly to the staff. Manage stock control, the receipt, storage, retrieval and ensure the timely delivery of goods. Supervise shipment loading & transferring and keep records of documents by entering data into the system.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Plan out all warehouse resources and activities in keeping with the company’s objectives and targets
• Manage all warehouse and manufacturing operations
• In charge of the Quality Inspections
• Maintain all employee training records
• Production kitting operations
• Produce work instructions, visual workstations, travelers for production
• Implement verification and inspection guidelines for drop-shipments, production kitting and assembly work
• Report monthly the inventory cycle count to Corporate Warehouse Manager and trimester to our external auditors
• Performed Mandatory PR Inventory External Audit Requirements

• MRB Returns – coordinate and communicate with Tampa Branch and/or Customers
• Make plans for the development of the staff by organizing training sessions
• Ensure that all the health and safety requirements are met and also has to take responsibility for the security of the building and stock
• Maintain and issue inventory report, entry and exit status report, dead stock report, goods age report, consumption report, manpower status report to the logistics manager
• Find out and implement cost reduction measures in all aspects of warehouse transactions and activities
• Create daily work logs and do audit of daily labor and billing reports
• Suggest measures of improvement and development of the warehouse
• Motivate staff to make an effective and efficient team
• Negotiate rates with common carrier representatives
• Schedule shipments with our internal and external carrier; ground, air and ocean transportation to our customer’s location (Puerto Rico, Caribbean Islands, Tampa, Texas, Mexico, Brazil, Connecticut, New York, Hungary and Germany)
