As an Operations Coordinator my responsibilities included: overseeing the front desk appointment schedulers and the doctor’s schedules, paying bills, approving time and vacation for co-workers, working closely with the infusion nurse to monitor patients accounts to ensure they were coded and billed correctly, also worked with patients as to their co-payment and or deductible they owed for their office visit or infusions, attended meetings for their referral committee, handled upset patients and other doctor offices. While with Mercy I was also an Operations Coordinator for the Northwest Arkansas Arthritis and Rheumatology Clinic, I was an appointment scheduler for Internal Medicine and I was a team leader in training for the GI Clinic.

As a Reports Specialists I had the opportunity to monitor the LOS and Performance for 16 Centerpoints and 3 Crossdocks providing data to my Department Manager all the way up to the VP of the Transportation Division. Responsible for special projects, organizing conferences, training associates in the claims process for the centerpoints, and successfully completed Claims Resolution Training.
