Objective: To find a more stable income for myself and my family as a Heavy Equipment operator. I am not employed now. I was employed by Calsooa Site Development Company for 4 years, Laid off as of Dec. 05, 2009. I did like them and enjoyed working for them. We did take a cut in hours from 50 plus hours a week down to 32 hours per week, and also we have taken a 10% cut in pay on the hour back in last April. I stayed with them hoping things would get better. But it didn’t, this is the reason I am looking for new employment now.
Summary of Qualifications: I do have over ten years of experience as a heavy Equipment operator and finisher grader. And six years as a crew foreman.
Certifications: I do have OSHA 10 certification No: 17-003******, I have also completed an 8 hour course for NUCA Excavation Safety & Competent person training program.
Job Title Finish Grader I take ground around new homes, new commercial buildings that has been torn up from construction and prepare it for landscaping and sod, using Blue prints, Grade Stakes, Lasers, Dozers, Mini excavators, Skid steers, Front end loaders, ect. To grade the ground where water will drain away from the foundations and is smooth for sod. When I am done, there is very little raking needed to finish the job. All so have job site foremen experience.

When the building boom stopped down here he went out of business I was his job site foreman. Doing grading, cutting walkways, driveways, moving dirt, Building burms, with slopes of 2 to 1, 3 to 1, 4 to 1 and bigger. Using Skid steers, front end loaders, box blades and dozer, and loading dump trucks to remove excess dirt from the job site. I was the foramen with 10 employees under me. As the job site foreman I worked with the development supervisor on a daily bases making sure all jobs was done correct and on time. Also I using a lap top computer to track all work being done, and all employees time, then sent it to our office daily using wireless internet so billing could be done and employees could get paid. Also as the job site foreman I sat up a once a month safety meeting with our employees. We would go over the job site safety requirements as well as our own equipment safety requirements. We never had an employee injury due to an accident on my site while I was the foreman for this company. About six months after I left they shut done due to no work.

This is where I began my equipment operating experience. They hired me to operate a bobcat to final grade around new homes, cut driveways, and walkways. While working for this company I learned how to operate front end loaders as well as dozers. I was all so a crew foreman for them. (I left this company to move down here to Florida so I could work all year round.) No layoffs during the winter months.
