Three phase separation (Gas,condensate and water) Mercury removal unit, GE Oil &Gas TURBO EXPANDER RECOMPRESSOR UNIT Gas dehydration and glycol regeneration system. Gas /Gas Exchangers The commissioning scope also covers instrument air and N2 generation off gas recovery unit ,Produced water degassing, wet gas separators, Complete plant operation is controlled and monitored through YOKOGAWA DCS.

Al Karakara Offshore field, Qatar.

From November 2008 to August 2011.

Worked as ‘Production / DCS operator in QPD Alkaraa field Qatar offshore. Controlling the process through D.C.S. (Emerson Delta V) Consists of the following facilities Oil wells, (remote station) and Production Separators. Remove the H2S from Stripper, wash water, Disposal water system, Hot water system, Chemical injection, Disposal water, Vapour recovery compressor (zero flaring system), Main oil pumping station and fire &Gas system. Familiar in production well testing, pigging operation (Inter lock system), Process plant commissioning, start up and shut down, Trouble shooting and handling emergencies Loop check, Cause & Effect, Fire & Gas System) Making Co-ordination with process side. & field operation area. Preparing daily production and activities report. Monitoring instrumentation loop check & logic control controlling the production activities that are conducted in compliance of the Company HSE rules, handling emergencies shut down and plant start up. Monitoring Fire & gas system.

Nature of Duties:

Monitor and control process parameters for various units from Main Control Room. Take quick & safe corrective actions in case of process upsets or emergency situations in line with standing instructions.

• Monitoring and controlling process parameters in DCS. Take timely remedial actions in case of process alarms or plant upsets due to instrument/equipment failure, ensuring Safety of plant & personnel.

• Routinely monitoring the various operation in the Plant, look out for any abnormalities, fault or leak and report immediately to supervisor for initiating its repair work.

• Preparing the equipment and/or facilities shutdown for maintenance and inspection and ensuring that all necessary procedures and instructions from Plant and Safety authorities are followed as defined in the work permit. Authorize job to start. Closes work permit after testing the equipment can be put back in service.

• Logs’ operating incidents occurring in the shift and passing on the remarks to the counterpart in the next shift, discussing incidents with the Supervisor.

• Monitoring fire & gas panel and interact with field operators and fire control center during failure of any plant protection system.

• Working as a Control Room operator (Distribution Control System – Emerson Delta V).

• Monitors all plants oil&gas wellhead conditions such as flow rates pressures,temperatures,levels etc through displays ,graphics and trend logs.

• Working in 28 % of H2S concentration oil field atmosphere and the facility operating with ZERO flaring Policy

• The control of process using the EMERSON process management – DELTA V

• Adjust plant operating parameters as required, validates instrument signal and take immediate response to unusual operating condition

Worked as operation foreman with M/S ADCO (Abu Dhabi company for onshore oil operations) at ASAB (SAS Fields) as commissioning and operations foreman in their newly built oil and gas plant. Plant comprises oil well head and cluster operation, crude three phase separation (oil, gas and water) in two stages, desalting, stabilization column, vapour recovery compressors(GE Power systems), low pressure& medium pressure (Mitsubishi) and gas injection compressors (Dresser Rand), gas dehydration and glycol regeneration system. Dowthem hot oil regeneration system for reboiler, water injection, gas injection and gas lift facilities, The commissioning scope also covers instrument air and N2 generation, crude storage facilities and flare system. Complete plant operation is controlled and monitored through Honeywell Experion process knowledge system R 201 DCS.

Central Production Facility and Tank Farm

Receiving Crude from Remote Degassing Stations, Gas Boot and Slug catcher, Produced water Tank, Skimmer Tank, Storage Tank Operations. Crude Transfer pumps unit and Trouble Shooting as per Cause & Effect Logics operated Central Production Facility Capacity of 345000 BPD. Actively involved in the calculations of daily productions, Weekly and monthly reports, Production test, Work sheet, And Work permit procedures.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Main Duties and Responsibilities

To prepare Daily Report and send to Production Supervisor.

To make well test according to schedule to prepare report and send to production Supervisor.

To maintain production target according to Well management Data Sheet.

Everyday closely monitors all plants, well head conditions such as Flow rates, pressures, Temperatures, levels, Flow rates of Production, Gas Injection rate and water injection rates checking through Trends, In case of any changes found immediately inform to Production Supervisor and take action as per advised.

To operate the plants Fire and Gas detection and fire production system.

To follow PTW System.

If necessary to contact Tool Box meeting according to work permit.

To report immediately any unexpected events this may affect the Plants or equipments.

In Emergency situations ensures the safe Shutdown, Isolation and blow down of relevant plant.

Every day to check all Chemical injection rates, If needed to adjust the flow rate accordingly.

To maintain Water injection / Gas Injection rate as per Target.

To get proper hand over from opposite Shift.

To maintain inhibition log and send report to Production Supervisor.

Ensure All LTI in proper position.

To check all open and closed tags for every 3 months.

To preserve all valves with grease.
