Inventory Control System (ICS) Associate

WalMart Stores, Inc. (JULY 2007 to JUNE 2011)

Managed the entire range of 450,000 pieces of stocked merchandise (variable depending upon the season). We also helped manage the sales floor of 270,000sqft. Managing these requires picks, scheduled bin audits, floor and backroom bin counts and bin re-stocking. Constantly utilizing manual pallet jacks, electric pallet jacks, stock pickers, walkie-stackers and propane-powered forklifts, we moved hundreds of 4’ to 8’ high pallets throughout the store. Daily, we manually unloaded 1-3 General Merchandise trucks (53’ x 102” trailers) containing approximately 1,700 to 2,400 separate product cases. Stacked each case onto about 35 – 45 separate pallets, each dedicated to a single department’s merchandise. Upon completion of the unloading process, the full or partially full pallets that were near the dock are strategically placed on safe areas on the sales floor to be worked (shelves filled, zoned and faced) by the night shift stockers.

Rental Equipment Technician

Bear Creek Mountain Resort (OCT 2006 to DEC 2006 )

Ensure renting customer’s safety by adjusting ski (pressure levels the boots break away from the skis depending on the customer’s self-reported skiing ability level) and ski length. Brief the customer on the proper use of safety features and cleaning procedures. Assist snowboard customers select snowboard types, lengths, and binding angles. This also included all of the skiing-type safety and cleaning briefings. Consistently assisted any and all customers in achieving the service connections they requested.
