Fall 2006, Internship Teacher

After graduating I spent a semester at Chisholm Elementary, in Edmond, Oklahoma, with Cheryl Swiggett, a fourth grade teacher. I took on the responsibilities of a full-time classroom teacher. I designed and taught lessons for all subjects, developed my classroom management skills, and interacted with other faculty and parents.

Three days a week I took care of my baby nephew. He is a month younger than my son. I was able to bring my son along. I did normal nanny duties plus some cooking once the boys started eating and the dishes.

Summer 2001– Spring 2005, Register/Sandwich Maker

For four years I worked with the company City Bites. It is a locally owned sandwich shop. I was the front person most of the time, because of my friendly manner towards the customers. I was also trusted with the money and working the register. I also made sandwiches because I pay close attention to detail and quick while still making a nice presentation.

Summer 1997- Spring 1999 Hostess/Waitress

Pioneer Pies Restaurant (no longer in buisness)

For two years I was hostess and waitress at Pioneer Pies. My duties included opening and closing the store, customer service with food and selling pies, and making the restaurant a nice clean atmosphere to have an enjoyable meal.

Fall 1995– Spring 1999, Work Grant Program

I attended a private high school that required tuition, and for four years I worked at the school to deduct some of the pay. My duties were more janitorial duties, cleaning up after sports events, sweeping and mopping halls, cleaning bathrooms, and anything else that needed to be attended to. I completed this work contracts on Saturday mornings through out the school year.
