The first team saved 2000 labor hours per year, on the assembly of the Pressure Deck for the Boeing 757.

The second team eliminated 8 Crane moves and reduced by 51 percent the area needed to assemble the 44 section of the Boeing 757.

Improved Productivity, Quality and Reduced Rework by designing new

tooling and as well as modifying existing tooling.

Saved 500 labor hours per year of rework be designing a tool, which

verified the Water Line location of the Pressure Deck, while it was being

installed into the 44 section of the Boeing 757.

Increased positional accuracy and reduced rework by designing a new

method of locating and securing the End Gate section of the 44 Major tool.

Reduced the need for Floor Mounted tooling, by designing Bench tooling,

which would be used in conjunction with determinant assembly.

Significantly reduced the number of head injuries / lost time accidents in

the fabrication of the Boeing 737 / 757. This was done by designing simple

to make safety devices.
