Engine Foreman Basic Function and Responsibilities:
BASIC FUNCTION: The Engine Foreman shall assist the 1st Engineer. He shall perform duties as delegated by him, and organize all work orders received from him. He is responsible for following up and providing feedback to the 1st. Engineer on pending jobs.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

He shall directly and immediately inform his immediate superior if any environmental system does not function properly.
• Arrange tools needed, and return them after the job has been completed.
• The “clean up” after completion of any job carried out under his supervision.
• Ensure that engine room crew follow the existing rules concerning break times.
• Report any task that should be of the 1st Engineer’s concern.
• Spokesman between the engine crew and the 1st Engineer during work and free time.
• Direct subordinates to ensure work is carried out properly and in a timely and efficient manner.
• Additional routines and work as assigned by supervisor.
Repairman Basic Function and Responsibilities:
BASIC FUNCTION: The above mentioned positions shall carry out the work orders given by Engine Foreman. They are skilled workers and must be able to carry out all kind of maintenance and repair work.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
