MD-80 Aircraft Program
Cost analyst for the MD-80 aircraft program. Verified data integrity including budgets, estimate to complete, and actual costs incurred, and made corrective action recommendations to project management. Supported three program clients in tracking the manufacturing and delivery of aircraft; Swiss Air, Air Italia, and the China “kit” program. To facilitate the delivery and assembly of the semi-assembled MD-80’s for the Chinese, Mr. Cowen was tasked with the development and presentation of a training program for project controls. He successfully worked through an interpreter to meet his course objectives.
