Management and Co-ordination of Industrial Investments
More than thirty years of experience as responsible for the management of large turn key projects, from their initial feasibility study, through their financial and commercial aspects, co-ordination of the sub contractors and the technical components, follow up of the planning of the works, budgets, etc .. up to and including starting up of the plants, final commissioning and project closures.
I have gained this large experience through my personal involvement in my projects and ended up as Senior Project Manager with the assistance of teams of specialised engineers dedicated to the timely completion of the investments.

Preliminary project phase:
• co ordination of the technical studies, utilities and architectural designs
• work out the global project investment costs
• preparation of the cash flow of the investment
• obtain the building permits
• follow up with the banks and the investors of the procedures and formalities
• negotiation of contracts and sub contracts.
Financial aspects:
• revision/adjustment follow up of the budgets.
• periodical update and charging of the expenses on the budgets
• check and approval of the subcontractors invoices and delays of payment
• follow up of the cash flow, evaluation of the necessary credits
Commercial involvement:
• call for quotations and price comparisons
• negotiation and wording of the orders to the suppliers
• relations with the insurers, management of the claims
• follow up of the eventual contract modifications
Technical requirements:
• checking the conformity of the equipment versus the technical specifications
• co ordination of the works, utilities, equipment
• follow up of the development of the specifications
• co ordination of the interfaces between the supplies
• relations with the design offices and client’s representatives
Delays:
• setting up and periodical up dating of the planning of deliveries
• synchronisation of the succession of the different tasks
• actions to recover and compress the delays
• follow up of the delays for submitting and approval of the drawings and documents
• checking of the delivery dates of the sub contractors
• organisation of the transports
Procedures and management:
• general management of the contracts, setting up of all the procedures
• organisation of the site installations
• evaluation of the necessities in workmanship and equipment
• co ordination of the activities
• collation and filing of the drawings and documents
• provisional and final acceptances of the equipment and supplies
