I graduated with my associate’s degree in September 2011 and I am currently working to earn my bachelor’s degree as well.

Attending college I have taken courses such as business law, ethics, and computer skills that have enhanced my experience and knowledge outside of my work experience.
Smokey Bones Bar and Grill
100 Market Place Blvd.
Peachtree City, GA 30269
August 2010-February 2011
While being a part of a fast paced environment, I learned that listening and organizing is very important when dealing with customers. Customer satisfaction is very important, but not impossible; it takes a lot of effort and hard work to satisfy the needs of others. I was responsible for meeting the needs of our customers, greeting customers to make them feel welcome, as well as training new hires. I was also partially responsible for answering phones, and taking catering orders, and closing the front on certain nights.
Smokey Bones Barbeque (Darden)
2971 Mount Zion Rd
Morrow, GA 30260
November 2005-September 2007
While working for Darden Corporation I learned teamwork is important for a business to run smoothly. I acquired many skills here and greatly improved my skills of multitasking. I was responsible for taking care of customers from the time they entered until they left. There is a lot of one on one interaction with people working in this kind of environment. I was responsible for opening the restaurant nearly every day, and making sure shift change was on time and accurate. The middle of 2006 my restaurant was unfortunately shut down due to economic difficulties so I was transferred to another city where I had to adapt to a new environment as I continued to learn.
Three Dollar Café
1000 Regency Plaza Boulevard
McDonough, GA 30253-6668
Three Dollar Café was an eye opening experience. I was responsible for closing many nights which helped to improve my patience. I started out as a greeter to enhance my people skills which really paid off. My responsibilities included taking care of customers, entering orders, cleaning and organizing work stations, and helping other servers in their tasks.
