Business Leader - Operations

District Operations Manager

Reporting to the Vice President of Operations. Responsible for P&L and all plant operations at the Green Bay facility while ensuring customer needs are met. Manages 31 associates on three shifts, and a budget of over $1.5 million.

• Managed a 50,000 square foot distribution center, with 800 SKUs, for a medical supply pick and pack operation.

• Interviewed, selected, and trained all district employees.

• Maintained a fleet of four delivery vehicles that made routine daily deliveries to the medical markets served in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Illinois.

WISCONSIN TISSUE MILLS, Neenah, Wisconsin 1987 - 1990

A leading converter of paper products including napkins, toilet tissue, and table paper.

Converting Manager

Reporting to the Plant Manager. Responsible for all shift operations of the napkin and table paper product lines which include daily productivity, quality and operator training, cross-training, and scheduling to ensure production requirements are met. • Implemented a manpower scheduling program to eliminate lost time during change over and unscheduled machine downtime which reduced lost time by 25%.

SHADE COMPUTER FORMS COMPANY, Green Bay, Wisconsin 1985 - 1987

A converter of single part and multiple part carbonless business forms, as well as plain and green bar business forms.

Converting Manager

Reporting to the Plant Manager. Responsible for all converting operations including developing and managing department budgets and meeting customer orders. Supervises 60 hourly associates.

• Implemented a MIDAS monitoring system which increased productivity and reduced machine downtime.

• Implemented a Repair Work Center (RWC) designed to eliminate downtime on the production lines. The RWC improved uptime and reduced the amount of rework being generated.
