FIM Engineer

• MDS – Developing the proof of concept for the new Management Agent for the Group Populator that will automatically create, populate and update the Distribution Lists for the VIP users and classified users and offices. The project includes customized extension rules to incorporate business policies and domain infrastructure of the Department of Justice (FIM 2010 Synchronization Service/C#)

• Interfacing with the component administrators for streamlining their Identity Management functions and reporting to them any issue or error that shows up during the Management Agent runs and the synchronization process. Also provide the components with possible solutions to the issues.

• Correcting and effecting changes on users, distribution lists and groups as per the requests from the component administrators through MDS Administrative Console (ASP.NET).

• Providing the components admins with periodic status reports as per their requirements (SQL/C#).

• AD/SAF Corporate Report (Business Intelligence) – Development of the auto generated corporate AD/SAF Report through SQL SSIS package. This involved connecting to the relevant tables in SQL 2008 databases, connecting to the production Active Directory instance (C#, AccountManagement), massaging the data to extract relevant information and loading the data in division-wise tables for the corporate website for the Divisional Information Security Officers to access this BI report for various identity management purposes. [C#/SQL 2008/AD]

• eSAF Manual Application – Solely responsible for the development of the Manual Applications for the divisions as a part of the company-wide eSaf role out. The task involved creating the user interfaces for the manual applications as per the requirements of the divisions and SSCs strictly adhering to the timeline provided for each division/SSC by the project management. This was accomplished by using the XML modules provided by Sentillion proVision manual applications development process.

• SAF Bulk Loader – This menu driven console application facilitates bulk account provisioning that also has the option to create trigger files for single-sign-on project and the latest ProVision project to add accounts to the Active Directory and SAF systems. This project involved coding, unit testing and setting up for production run. [C#/SQL]

• Developed SAF (Security Administration Form) Administration Portal – Written in C#/ASP.NET this menu driven portal facilitates various important Identity Management related administrative tasks. Task also included setting up the security group for access to the application, set up documentation, building up test cases and writing build documents for moving the project from lab environment to production. Database: SQL 2005. Recently upgraded to visual Studio 2010 with SQL 2008 as the database.

• AD Account Management – Web based console to change the attribute values in Active Directory. The site facilitates clients to make LDAP queries to bind to specific objects in AD and alter the attribute values. This can be done for individual user accounts or for bulk changes within an OU. User interface with ASP.NET. {SQL/C#]

• FIM 2010 – Successfully lead effort to upgrade ILM to the latest version, Forefront Identity Manager, 2010. The work included configuration of the management agents to adjust to the current environments in DEV, QA and Production. This work also involved writing new codes (C#) for the Management Agents and reconfiguring the older Extension Rules to render them suitable to function at the current environment.

FIM 2010 Portal - Exploring the scope of RCDC to develop Sentillion manual application interfaces for the FIM portal. This is currently done in a sandbox environment with VMs running on Server 2008 host.

• MIIS – Solely responsible for installing AD/AM instance and writing and setting up the extension rules to provision accounts into AD/AM from Active Directory through MIIS. (Extension rules written in C#). Also configured the Target MA in Dev environment and the related extension rule to provision account from Dev Active Directory instance to the one in the Certlab. The project included extensive documentation detailing the attributes included under different object types and support strategies. Extension rules written in c#.

• eSRA Report – This report identifies the SRA token usage from the raw SRA database, moves them to a SQL table (SQL 2008), obtains additional information from the Active Directory (using C#) and generates the report in .CSV format.

• COM Objects (interface) written in C# to communicate with legacy codes that are written in VBS and ASP.

DELOITTE & TOUCHE LLP April, 1998 – October 2006

Systems Analyst/Development

• Part of a three member team that developed the high profile Account Provisioning system through MIIS (Microsoft Identity Integration Server). Specifically developed the SQL MA (management agent) that extracts data out of flat files received from the SAP team and importing them into the Metaverse through Rules Extensions. (VB.NET/SQL 2000)

• Developed the process (SQLDataLoader) that extracts data out of flat files received from the SAP team and populates the SQL table to be used as the input for Account Provisioning. (VB.NET/C#/SQL)

• Part of the team that developed the current List Management System (LeMuR). Responsible for development and coding of the component that looks into the SAP side of list membership and compares it to the Active Directory group membership for eventual updates. (VB.NET/C#/SQL).

• Fully responsible for designing, coding and maintenance of the Voice Mail Lists – Active Directory synchronization process. This project involved interface development and development of agents that runs nightly as an executable. (VB.NET/C#/SQL)

• Trouble shooting various Service Desk (Unicenter Service Plus product) calls addressed to our department, Directory Services, on a weekly rotation. The calls mainly relate to account provisioning and CCMAIL/NOTES coming from our help desk in India.

• Solely responsible for designing and coding the intranet site for a read-only List Management System (LeMuR). (ASP.NET/SQL 2000)

• Designing and scripting the Special Mailbox Request forms (Outlook 2000) for the client. Also developed/coded the program (VB.NET) for distribution and notification of such request to the concerned technicians and the folders.

• Developed component (in VB.NET) for project maintenance and monitoring the progress of the scheduled tasks on the NT application servers.

• Scripting Network monitoring program in NetIQ to determine the flow of traffic and availability of the RIM server.

• Testing the legacy codes for any Y2K glitch.

• Designed and built application for cc:Mail directory synchronization for the mobile users in Visual Basic 6.0. This project included translating legacy code from Win Batch to Visual Basic 6.0 and giving the system the look and feel of a wizard to make it more user-friendly. This project also extensively involved import and export of mails through cc:Mail by using Xmail components. Also developed the site for this system for the corporate intranet in Visual InterDev 6.0.

• Converting legacy Deloitte Information Management System (DIMS) from Clipper to VB6.0 with SQL 7.0 at the back end.

Involved building the user interfaces, SQL programming for usage and handling of medical databases relating to MDS, admitting and pre-admitting screens, reports, and electronic transfer of medical data, rolodex, and care plan, debugging and standardizing the existing case mix and assessment modules, and testing.
