Global Footwear Product Line Manager

September 2005 - March 2010 Nike Inc. Beaverton, OR

• Marketing manager for Nike Sportswear’s $600M business. 30% of the business was created for the foreign markets, while 80% of the business focused on US consumers.

• Retained margin category goals of 56%-58% target by working constantly with Nike’s financial division to meet revenue expectations.

• Created a seasonal marketing concept strategy, which provided a product marketing structure for Nike Sportswear through 2016. This strategy includes line planning, forecasting, budgeting and overall retail position.

• Drove seasonal marketing concepts by managing product creation time lines within each global regions, working with a design team and forecast season units for the market.

• Wrote creative marketing footwear briefs for new Sportswear concepts. These concepts resulted in creative in store displays, digital content, print ads, along with double digit sale through for the product.

• Seasonal focus groups with trend leaders, consumers and accounts across the US market place allowed me to brief creative direction that would maintain Nike’s product leadership with consumers in the market place.
