Dear Sir/Madam

Please find my CV attached for your consideration

I have recently completed studying Journalism with Media Studies at De Montfort University and I am looking to aspire for a career within Journalism.

My aspirations are to work in Broadcast Journalism, may it be on television, radio or on the internet. I’ve got experience in writing for newspapers and magazine, appearing and co-presenting radio shows, as well as helping out on television sets. Experiencing these opportunities has allowed me to get a feel of how it is to work within different aspects of journalism.

In addition, I’ve done research during my work experience placements, so I’ve got a good understanding of how research should be conducted. Research is an essential part of journalism, so with having had experience of doing research, I believe it will come as a great benefit to me.

As well as having an interest in broadcast journalism, investigative and sports journalism are other areas I’m really interested in. They’re areas of journalism I’m passionate about. In addition, I also have an interest in advertising. Studying it has had an effect and influence on me to have the possibility of having a career within advertising.

I have the utmost desire to reach my ambitions and career goals when and I believe I can demonstrate my desire to succeed if given the opportunity.

Thanking you for your time in advance

Yours Faithfully,

Hiten Mandalia
