. Supervise contractor support for TC-Bldg K Roof repair/replacement
program. Tracked progress utilizing MS Excel spreadsheet and MS
Project. Installed modified BUR with white pyramic coating. Result was
increased LEED energy savings and 30 year FM Global compliancy
warranty. Capital budget was $1.2M.
. Install two Diesel Generator Exhaust Fans and one 7.5 Ton Bridge Crane
for TC-Bldg L. Capital budget was $485K.

Provide support for operations, wage, contractors and manufacturing
engineering on machine relocations, continuous flow improvements and
AutoCAD computer layouts. Analyze and improve assembly line methods.
Coordinate install of man-cooler fans, new welding equipment/fixtures, jib
cranes, RIP racks and bridge cranes for better flow of combine assembly
line parts. Oversight and administration of general facility annual
services programs including grounds keeping, janitorial services, elevator
inspection, fire extinguisher inspection, and snow removal.
. Supervise a variety of on-site office building construction projects
including installation of new HVAC ductwork and ventilation equipment
including floor and ceiling registers, temperature controllers and air
conditioners. Also responsible for purchase and installation of new
furniture, carpeting, paint and audio/visual equipment needed.
. Enhance throughput on 10 manufacturing lines by 20% through CI
projects and lean manufacturing techniques such as Kanban, 5S, poka-
yoke and process flow improvements.
. Install 2 catwalks, vacuum lifts and fast roll-up doors for combine
top covers. Increased throughput and easier handling of covers. Total
cost of project was $125K.
. Install new CNC Robot Welder and an additional welding fixture.
Increased Feeder house part production from 2.4 per hour to 3.9 per
hour. Can now meet capacity requirements and balance workflow between
2 shifts.
. Negotiate $100K in savings with suppliers during annual contract
negotiations.
. Training and implementation of 5S Standards program for onsite
contractors by creating a 5S audit sheet. Areas are much cleaner and
better organized. Recognized by area Business Unit Leader for this
accomplishment.

upgrades to maintain efficient operations and environmentally sound working
conditions. Team with design engineering on manufacturing process issues
such as tooling and GD &T. Help maintain ISO 9001Certification.
. Install replacement vertical machining center in Flat Sight Glass
Dept. Saved $89K per year in overtime costs due to downtime of old
machine and increased part production. Budget was $152K.
. Support new product line launch (Yarway Boiler Trim). Capital budget
was $2M. Increase sales by $7M per year.
. Project Manager for installation of a 2 Ton Bridge Crane Hoist for
Parts Storage area. Result was faster throughput of raw materials and
reduced material handling. Reduce back injury worker compensation
claims by 30%. Budget was $76K.
. Made routing modifications to support process improvements and correct
errors.
. Add part BOMs to MRP and help purchasing negotiate pricing with
suppliers.
