Accounts Management system

Role : Team Lead

Responsibilities: Analysis, Design, Development and implementation.

This Project relates with accounting aspects of a company. It provides user complete environment

to perform all major finance related tasks. Its main functions are Chart of Accounts, General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Bank and Cash, Fixed Assets Management and wide range of helpful reports. This module has integration with other modules.

Relational database management system Microsoft SQL server 2000 is used as backend

A very user friendly GUI is developed using visual basic 6.0 Enterprise Edition.

This application runs at five locations including head office. The branches are connected through Broadband internet connection.

Job information system

This system is fully integrated with accounts and finance module. This application focused on job related operation performed during job completion period. The system automates

Different tasks like job scheduling automatic emails to concerned staff. It provides job and shipment tracking viewing of job with different angles. the system also automate the approval of documents like cost and selling sheet , Bill of lading etc etc.

The system also generates messages for managers that which tasks of a job are going out of agreed time frame.

The tools used are same as stated above.

Sales and Marketing System

Roles: Complete design development and implementation.

This module was related to record the visits of our sales staff to clients. The software includes visit planning, management of sale team statistical reports like weekly, monthly visit reports and Success and failure reasons reports. The system automatically announces the follow-up and planned visits.

Reporting include Searching of customer from different direction and target the market.

Web Based Pricing System

Roles: Complete design development and implementation.

The fourth module assigned to me was web based pricing system for our sales staff.

To centralize company’s buying rates I have developed web based Pricing software for our pricing dept. The software is very useful for sales team as they can quote service rates at any time and any location where internet access is available. Software was developed using ASP3.0 (Vbscript).
