SUMMARY

As a very detailed production control specialist, I work well individually as well as with a team teaching and learning from others. I also work hard to solve complex problems and automate manual processes. I keep schedules updated and provide communication to make sure all parties are well informed of changes and/or updates. I also write new and update existing documentation to keep operations up to date on new and existing tools. Production Control Specialist (July 1998 – September 2007)

 Responsible for source control for AS400 (ACMS-Aldon) and Unix (PVCS); act as AS400 production scheduler using Help System’s Robot Scheduler and Unix scheduling using CA’s Autosys.

 Oversee daily coordination and integration of all production application systems and resolve complex production control and processing problems involving multiple production systems.

 Minimize conflict for resources by identifying and maintaining priorities for production processing based on organization and/or user needs.

 Responsible for administering report distribution using Help System’s Robot Reports.

 Provide production control support to users and other data processing personnel.

 Work with vendors to resolve problems/issues and assist with evaluation of new vendor software.

 Coordinate and administer weekly change management.

 Analyze work to determine cause of problems and create processes to automate tasks.

 Ensure communication of production issues across multiple shifts.
