Sr. Vice President of Patient Care Services/ System Chief Nursing Officer. Report to the President of the Health System. Responsible for the leadership over 1500 employees in Nursing Services. Hospital just received Joint Commission accreditation. Attends numerous nursing, executive, board and community meetings/engagements.
Cape Fear Valley Medical Center is an acute-care hospital offering quality care in open-heart surgery, home health and hospice, cancer treatment, maternity services, emergency medicine, pediatric intensive care, wellness programs and more. Highsmith-Rainey Speciality Hospital provides long-term acute car
e as well as an urgent care facility. Cape Fear Valley Rehabilitation Center is a physical rehabilitation facility offering inpatient and outpatient care for brain- and spinal cord injured, neurologically impaired patients, stroke patients and orthopedic patients. Behavioral Health Care is a comprehensive psychiatric hospital with inpatient and outpatient services for children, adolescents and adults. Bladen County Hospital is a public, not-for-profit facility that includes a 24-hour Emergency Department, 40-bed Medical/Surgical Unit, an Intensive Care Unit and an up-to-date Birthing Center. The HealthPlex is an award-winning fitness and wellness. Our physician offices and clinics are located throughout Fayetteville and surrounding counties. Reported to the President of Marymount Hospital. Interim position with responsibility for both hospitals for 4 months until new CNO named for Marymount.
Fairview Hospital is a 492-bed facility; Level II Trauma Center; Level III Regional Perinatal Center; Level III Neonatal Intensive Care. Fairview Hospital was named for the 2005, 2006, and 2007 Thomson Reuters (formerly: Solucient) 100 Top Hospitals® award. It was also Among America’s 50 Best Hospitals (Health Grades) and named as North Coast 99 Employer. Achieved Magnet Designation-January 12, 2009.
2003-2006: Veterans Administration Medical Center, Butler, PA.
Chief Nursing Officer, Patient Care Services. Reported to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and served as the Chief Nursing Officer for the facility. Responsible for leadership of over 150 employees and the following areas: Nursing Services, (Transitional Care, Acute and Hospice), Rehab Services (PT, OT, KT, Rec Therapist, Physiatrist, Comp and Pension Exams), Prosthetics, Speech, Community Nursing, Contract Nursing Home, Home Based Primary Care, Homemaker/Home Health Aide Program, Adult Day Health Care, Telehealth-Care Coordination, Infection Control, Patient Education, Diabetes Program, Screening Admission Process, Veteran’s Wellness Programs.
The Veterans Administration Medical Center in Butler, PA is a 161-bed government medical facility that includes 110 acute care and 51 long-term care/substance abuse beds.

Managed daily operations and plans for the future direction of the Patient Registration Department under the supervision of the Chief Financial Officer.
