· Created Comment Log reporting system for Qcare Actuarial Dept to provide in-house turn-around statistics for operators working claims.

· Programmed Interactive Voice Response unit which interfaced with mainframe claims processing and reporting for Medicare Part A. Also performed voice recording editing using SoundForge (by Sony) whenever CMS had procedure changes. (IVR, VRU programming).

· Received an award for reprogramming HOHPTP, a program adapted for industry-wide use to facilitate online CICS editing (Medicare/CMS) for provider processing, registration, and verification for HIPAA transaction records.

· Modified MedATran (FEP) programs (HB837BTR, HB837BIG, HB837BAD, HB997ZAC, and HB997ZRJ) for in-house use in order to provide claim totals and charges for each provider, eliminating abends.

· Modified MedATran JCL to provide email notifications of Inbound Validation errors

and Crosswalk deletions and additions from the preceding day’s file, saving man-hours for

the business.

· Converted Mercator software to MedATran (4010X096A1 files), for ANSI 837, 271, 276, 277, & 997 transaction files.

· Converted Oscar numbers to NPI for mainframe and Voice Response Units.

· Assisted with provider education with Health Care Institutional Implementation Guide rules.
