Estimator/Project Manager
Managed, from pre-construction to closeout, new construction and remodel projects with cumulative cost of $12.5M. Estimated/bid and negotiated projects. Value-engineered several projects to meet client budget requirements. Coordinated procurement of materials. Liaised with clients and subcontractors.
Estimated and value-engineered new library for Indian tribe, leading the project to completion on time and even under budget, thanks to additional value engineering after beginning construction
Estimated and managed public-works projects, including fire station and school addition; completed school addition with students remaining on campus, and identified and removed hazardous materials
Worked with designer and county to re-design fire-station building to complete new design in just one week, instead of proposed time of four weeks; also re-worked construction schedule to keep construction on schedule and finished project on time, in spite of delay for redesign
