Significant Positions:
OEM Support Manager, AE Commercial Programs, Rolls-Royce –
• Accountable for support issues for all AE3007 fan jet and AE2100 turboprop commercial aircraft manufacturers (Embraer, Cessna, Saab) for the Corporate, Airline and Military derivatives. Established OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturers – aircraft manufacturers) support procedures; coordinating production support, field support, planning and execution of technical publication interface with OEMs in accordance with the support agreements.
• Involved in negotiation and execution of contractual agreements, logistics, quality issues, engineering, airworthiness/air safety issues and flight test.
• Managed aircraft/engine technical interface, configuration control for continued airworthiness.
• Coordinated logistics, import/export, support and communication during aircraft production and delivery process
• Monitored customer satisfaction for manufacturers and operators from multiple sources to assure all issues are addressed
• Key member of a focused program management team responsible for the relationship with major aircraft manufacturers. Garnered five supplier of the year awards in last seven years.
Customer Support Manager, AE3007A Series –
• Responsible for the support, planning, reliability analysis and customer satisfaction of Continental Express, the largest AE3007A fleet. Assigned this position in addition to the OEM Support requirements for a year due to abrupt departure of previous manager. Involved in selection and training of new Customer Support Manager
• Established an honest, consistent communication with the airline customer that greatly improved their satisfaction. With communication flowing well, in both directions, we teamed with the airline to address reliability and maintenance issues that were adversely affecting dispatch rates
250 Senior Customer Support Engineer, Allison/Rolls-Royce –
• Primary responsibility for technical coordination and operational interface with light aircraft manufacturers (OEMs) Bell, MD Helicopters, Agusta, Eurocopter, Soloy, PZL and Kamov.
• Charged with all technical support of 250 Series I and II turboshaft and turboprop engines for technical publications, authorized maintenance center inquiries, OEM questions, installation analysis, Flight Manual engine procedures, operator queries, creating & conducting technical seminars, accident investigations, airworthiness issues, warranty, campaigns, engine reliability data analysis and accessory supplier coordination.
• Act as primary OEM contact managing OEM Coordination Meetings and issues generated.
• Technical advisor for Allison/Rolls-Royce Airworthiness to domestic and foreign authorities.
• Program Manager for US Army ATEDS/PETS electronic technical publications, engineering services initiative and managed the support agreements for the US Navy TH-57 and US Army TH-67 training helicopter fleets.
Australasian Regional Manager, Allison Gas Turbine, Div. GM –
• Based in Australia and Singapore tasked with the technical support, installation/configuration management and marketing/sales functions for 250, T56/501 and 501K/570K engines for the Pacific Rim, Asia and the Persian Gulf.
• Supported six 250 OEMs, nine 250 & 501 authorized repair/overhaul facilities, 3 scheduled airlines, 2 scheduled Jetfoil operators, 3 industrial packagers, multiple regulatory authorities and hundreds of commercial & foreign military operators with equipment from small helicopters to multi-engine airline and cargo aircraft to stationary gas pumpers and power generation units.
