Senior Programmer Analyst
As a Technical Lead, responsible for the complete SDLC of the business support projects developed by information technology group. Applications were developed in VB 6.0, VB.NET, ASP.NET, HTML and CSS. Design and development was done in SQL Server 2005 database for these Windows applications.
• Designed, developed and implemented a Pricing system to manage the Costs and Prices of all the Items manufactured in-house as well as by outside vendors. This application integrates multiple groups involves Purchasing, Merchandising and Product Development groups and reduces the communication delay between the groups, as well as reduce the paperwork and time.
• Designed, developed and implemented a Customer Communications project to automate the communications for the Customer Service department, reducing their phone time. Developed a SSIS package to sync the customer data in sync with the IBM database.
• Designed and developed a Merchandizing application for the Merchandisers to create and manage catalogs, which automates most of the catalog development process.
• Developed an application for the Product development group to maintain the inventory. This application interacts with Microsoft Office suite and Acrobat pdf files. Reports were done as ASP pages.

As a Lead Programmer Analyst, actively involved in the development and deployment of some of the NASDAQ execution systems.
• Designed, developed and deployed an application to add and update funds into mutual funds and funds repository at the same time reducing operator intervention time by half. The result was a faster build process that is scalable and cheaper to maintain compared to ones existed before. Project was developed on Tandem HP systems under Guardian OS with Tandem C.
• Analyzed and diagnosed the vendor feed data to ensure the successful migration of Mutual funds project to Windows. Web interface was created to monitor the system, which significantly improved the migration period. Interface was developed in ASP.NET, C#, .NET and SQL Server 2005 for data access.
• Collaborated in the development and implementation of Supervisory and Match process for Supermontage trading system, which gave access to Supervisor to directly monitor the trading. Project was developed on Tandem HP systems under Guardian OS using C and C++.
• Involved with migrating mutual funds from HP to Wintel, developed DTS packages for data migration to SQL Server 2000.
• Designed migration of Tandem projects to Wintel, supported the IT life cycle actively for SIP project which handles the broadcasting of quotes and trades. Developed using C# under the .NET framework
• Designed and developed CAES/ITS system, which handles Inter market trading. Project was developed on Tandem HP systems under Guardian OS with TAL.

As a Consultant, designed, developed and implemented a Human Resource project for IBM Southbury
Collaborated in creation of a Human Resources work flow project, National Employee Processing System.
• Involved for overall architecture, design, development and implementation of this project using Visual C++, IBM FlowMark and DB2. Participated in proof of concept prototype and presented to Executive Managers which won rave reviews. This prototype developed using VX-REXX and DB2 on OS2 and also Java, Java Script and DB2 on Windows.
• Working as a lead Developer delivered Mailer application a Notes agent written using Java. This mailer sends automatic notifications to IBM employees based on set criteria. IBM Blue Pages Java API was used to resolve EMP Serial Number and Work location (CNUM) to their current e-mail address which is then used in mailing the content.
