Autobiography My life started in Taiwan, and trained in USA. After graduated from senior high school in Taoyuan, I left Taiwan to USA for career and back to Taiwan when I 30.
Currently, I am investing a franchised USA restaurant in Ban Chao (Taiwan), at the time; I am also preparing to welcome the arrival of my first daughter. Expect the restaurant running experience above, I never had any officially working experiences in Taiwan. So, basically, I have pure American working attitudes and logics.
Since most of experiences in Taiwan was been a student, some of my competitions of pen writing, speech & singing...etc. could be the point that I can record here. However, one of championships, the Taiwan Cup Physics Hydromechanics, which I am still proud of, since my name was published with newspaper. After that, I didn't reach the goal major and college while having chance to expand my life to USA at the time, the decision was took off from Taiwan and join the new world and start my new milestone when I was around 18. I have studied in several of colleges because the job and living movement. And since I joined semiconductor field, I stopped my student life and fully stepped into my career. Because of the frequent business trips, there is no way for me to keep my class passed due to frequently absence. Consider the level of position and pay at the time, it is not about the diploma anymore, it’s about how to let myself get into higher level in the innovation and pressure Silicon Valley.
During the career life in USA, I have been SFO international check in agent, weight balance control. Health Equipment's branch manager. Ma Lab's (Computer Device company) warehouse manager, QC manager. And Names Inc, Micron Materials Ltd's (Semiconductor & Solar Power) sales engineer, purchasing engineer, HR, PR, ELP (employee lending project) team lead and also North America Branch manager.
Consider the language of my wife and Chinese learning environment for my new coming little girl, I decided to invest a franchised USA restaurant in Taiwan as mentioned above. But still I have never gave up the chance to have a fine career in USA, if there is any chance.
Currently, whole my family stay in Taiwan and consider for a career back to USA or an Asia branch is welcomed as well. The background of family restaurant related background was not officially record in the resume, however, the sense and experiences of restaurant/ hotel related job functions was developed with my growing age in USA.
By the way, I am currently in Taiwan, so if any thoughts that I might be the right person and would like to set up a interviw, I am affraid to ask SKYPE for the webcam call, and once position confirmed, I will move back to Modesto area.
