Responsible for welding carbon and stainless steel pipes by “GTAW”(tig) root and hot pass, and “SMAW”(stick) all the way out with 3/32 or 1/8 7018 rods. For structural welds, it was mostly open-butt welds, and I used 6010 rods for roots and 7018 rods for filler & caps, for PCA Paper Mill in Clyatteville, Georgia.
