My acquired expertise is achieved by providing holistic optimal quality of care in both the acute care hospital setting and in the long term care facilities. Such knowledge and experience have broadened my nursing skills and enhanced my competency to effectively care for patients while undergoing IV Therapy, Carrying out complex wound care treatment orders and VAC therapy, and efficiently carry out assessments for individuals with cognitive impairments and other mental health issues such as depression, suicidal ideation, schizophrenia, Bipolar and aggression. In addition, I am able to effectively administer medication, assess and carry out wound care orders, transcribe doctor’s order, assess patient’s progress and status, collaborate with both family and the interdisciplinary team. I am very certain that these skills and qualifications that I have acquired would be a valuable asset.
My reliability, well-developed organizational skills, and time management abilities, have been beneficial in my career to date. I enjoy challenge, and can work both independently and as a member of a team.
