CAREER OVERVIEW
Over 9 years of retail management. Responsibilities include managing 3 different stores over the 9
years, and managing staffs of between 20 to 40 people. Experience top producing stores, with annual
sales greater than $20 million dollars and over $1 million dollars in profit.

- Selected to oversee new store openings. Responsibility for new store openings included
facilitating management of projects for facilities set up and preparation of new store set-up while
managing normal and seasonal projects required at the primary store location.

- Selected to present instructional training material for Assistant Store Managers on

mentoring program. Contributed formally as a mentor to two Store Managers in the Pleasanton
district who were trained and promoted under my direction.
- Hired for and initiated the Store Management Recruiting Program in the Pleasanton district. This
included evaluating current Safeway employees for the Management Training Program.
- Established a strategic relationship with the Pleasanton Redevelopment Agency to help satisfy human resource needs and work with the community in Pleasanton and Morgan Hill.
