Won $110M in USAF contracts by improving Washington Group International’s contract proposal method. Company wanted to win as many USAF contracts as possible. Previously had only won three of 18 due to late deliveries and poor pricing data. Worked with technical leads to use software to determine material and labor costs. Developed standardized pricing formats. Reduced pricing and proposal submittal time resulting in winning seven of 10 contracts
Generated $95M in contracts for Lockheed through development of special project. Company offered to partially pay for time spent on idea, spawned during lunch, to modify a missile into launch vehicle. Worked with technical leads, researching missile conversion and costs, mostly in personal time. Presented findings to management, obtaining largest company-funded project in history. Won contracts with seven commercial companies prior to first vehicle launch.
Won $2M in government bonus fees for Raytheon for completing project under budget and early. Engineering and financial performance success was vital for future construction phase of $100M government project. Created and implemented a metrics measurement system to spur departments to adhere to schedule and budgets. Generated friendly competition, completing engineering efforts ahead of schedule and under budget.
Saved WGI $2.4M annually by standardizing reporting methods to meet Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Business units within the company were reporting revenue figures differently causing Sarbanes-Oxley compliance issues. Evaluated business units, identifying inconsistencies and gaps. Developed standardized procedures, computer codes, sales and costs definitions. Reduced reporting workloads and costs by eliminating redundancies for audits.

Supervise three Project Controls personnel for two Power projects. Conducted financial calculations for base contracts and two chemical demilitarization projects. Ensured Sarbanes Oxley compliance.
